Axbridge is a very small town in Somerset, which used to be much more important than it is now. It is well over 1500 years old, and was important in the area from the time of King Alfred. It grew to great importance in Tudor times and even had its own mint.

Now it is an extremely pretty place, with a wonderful farmers’ market once a month.
